About us

The Gold Prague café was open on the 7 of November 2008. The goal was to bring a little bit of Europe into Homestead. The owners are originally from Slovakia which is located in the Central Europe. They came to United States in the year 2000.

The bakery chef Gabriela Matus has been in the bakery business for over 25 years. She has worked for many major Hotels while living in Slovakia. This café has been a dream come true for her. She takes pride in everything she does with the help of her husband Peter Matus. Some of the recipes are her creations. She loves what she does and that can be seen in the products that she sells.
